Diana Blumberg is an archaeological scientist specialising in the analysis of archaeological materials. She has worked on archaeological field schools in Pompeii and Portus (one of the harbours of ancient Rome), and also has excavation experience in the UK.
Diana has previously led walking tours in Rome, where she lived for two years. She has taught lifelong learning classes in classical archaeology at the University of Southampton and lectured on undergraduate modules at the University of Winchester.
Diana is now a staff member on a new project in Pompeii at the Casa della Regina Carolina, managed by Cornell University and the University of Reading.
