Professor Adam Hardy
Adam Hardy is Professor of Asian Architecture at Cardiff University, UK, and founder and Director of PRASADA – a center for Practice, Research and Advancement in South Asian Design and Architecture. He is an expert in the history of South Asia.
Adam’s research is largely in the history of architecture in South Asia, particularly Indian temple architecture (Buddhist, Hindu, Jain). He has done related work on vernacular architecture in India, the nature of multi-cultural art and architecture, and more broadly bringing architectural theory and practice together to understand them in their broader cultural context.
